Clutter share new single and video "Robot", announce UK tour supporting ShitKid

Stockholm-based four-piece Clutter today release their new track, “Robot”, the third single from their forthcoming debut album, Sugar Rush, set for release on 2 October 2026 via PNKSLM Recordings. Pre-order Sugar Rush here.

Summoning a unique fictional narrative wrapped in overdriven guitar riffs and distorted vocals, “Robot” explores themes of digital romance, evoking a futuristic world through desperate, catchy confessions like “Help, I’m in love with a robot”, “I’m a woman based on algorithms” and “I need someone artificial”. Perhaps the most playful track on the record, “Robot” is a tongue in cheek song about falling in love with a machine that sounds like a lost cut from Yeah Yeah Yeah’s Fever To Tell. 

Speaking on the new single, Clutter say: "Robot is a static and fuzzy song about the relationship between a girl and a robot. It's a playful take on the rise of technology and both a critic and a bit of a joke. The lyrical subject blends with the sound of distorted and choppy instruments, almost creating an electronic sound."

Clutter today also announce four UK live dates next month as special guests of ShitKid, including a show at London’s Scala on 17 September. Dates are as follows:
