PNKSLM Recordings proudly announce that Christmas 2025 has officially started, as we present "Christmas with Gasolina".
After surviving her Drunk Girl Summer, Stockholm indie-popstar Gasolina is back with a perfectly tongue-in-cheek double-single, just in time to save the festive season.
The (newly reformed) Shitkid bassist opens with "Expensive", a bittersweet ballad for these dire times of commercialism, followed by the upbeat romantic tale of "This Time of Year" - complete with Horns and Saxophone by Gavin Fitzjohn (best known for his work with everyone from Jools Holland to Ghost).
"It was kinda always my dream to be Stockholm's answer to Mariah Carey," jokes Lina. "I was having a meeting with PNKSLM in early October and half-joked about wanting to try and make a Christmas hit. They told me I'd have to have it done within 3 weeks if it was to be released in time, so me and Luke basically ran to the studio and started putting ideas together trying to get a song, and somehow we ended up making two!"
