London based vegas water taxi, led by singer/guitarist Ben Hambro (Lazarus Kane etc), are re-releasing their cult debut LP things are gonna be alright as an expanded set today via Stockholm based indie label PNKSLM Recordings, available digitally as well as on vinyl for the first time. The expanded edition features five bonus live tracks taken from the band’s performance at the legendary Windmill Brixton in February 2024, featuring an 11 piece live band and an early version of recent single “birkenstocks”. things are gonna be alright was recorded at Funky Junky in London with Folly Group's Louis Milburn, mixed by Louis Milburn and Ben Hambro and mastered by Mikey Young.

vegas water taxi sold out London’s The Lexington at the end of 2024 and earlier this year the band performed as part of The Line of Best Fit’s Five Day Forecast as well as opened for Katy J Pearson at KOKO and performed at SXSW London.

Today the band's also announcing their next London headline date on November 21 at The Ivy House, with new music to be released in late summer.
