Vero announce new album Razor Tongue, share new single "100 Calls"

Stockholm trio Vero is back with their second full-length, a record that thrives on urgency: no re-takes, no second-guessing—just pedal-to-the-floor intensity. Following the acclaimed debut LP Unsoothing Interior (press Uncut, CLASH, Dork, The Line of Best Fit, KEXP etc) from 2022, Razor Tongue drive into rougher, rawer territory. The result is wiry alt-rock with punk edges, choruses that detonate, and lyrics about obsession, loneliness, and fragile declarations of love.

Together with the announcement the band is sharing lead single "100 Calls", which the band says is the saddest song on the album, a slow burning indie rock number asking the “Was it all, and all for you?” while feedback sparkles and the guitars distort like sunlight through glass.
