Sibille Attar announce new album + share new single "KL + SA"

Today, Sibille Attar announces her new album, Amor Fati, ahead of a Sept 4th release via PNKSLM Recordings. A cycle of songs about falling in love unfolding in real time, it marks Attar’s first album in English since 2021's acclaimed A History of Silence. Pre-order Amor Fati here.
News of the album is accompanied by a new single, "KL + SA", a towering, icy piece of cathartic indie-pop led by Attar’s soaring, richly emotional vocal. "I wrote this song in a heartbeat which is surprising since my heart was broken,” explains Attar. “I had that song ‘Vampire Empire’ by Big Thief in memory, inspired by how clearsighted a lyric can be even if you’re spun all around then asked not to spin." Listen to "KL + SA" here.
Most love albums are written as if the ending has already been agreed upon. Emotional paperwork signed, lighting approved, everyone pretending not to know what happens next. Attar’s latest project - which also includes recent single "Slow Down" - has the poor taste to unfold in real time instead. Completely self-produced, it begins euphoric, gets complicated fast, and refuses to simplify itself for anyone’s convenience. Less reassuring. Much more alive.
